Nano is technical term used in measurement. A nanometer is measure
of distance of one-billionth of a meter or 1/80,000th the diameter
of a human hair! In addition to the High Modulus Graphite material
used in the Kimoni rackets, Nano technology in combination is an
advance technology to create, change and improve the racket structure
at the molecular level. As a result, the durability increased by
10% and the Penetrating Power increased by 30%! The use of Woven
Power System even enhance the total power of racket significantly.
Excellent rackets for advance and serious players. |

Woven graphite is a fabric introduced in recent years which has
become an excellent alternative to fiberglass and Kevlar - only
mils thick with great strength. In addition to its great strength,
graphite fabric also has very low density and is very stiff. Although
it is quite costly, the material saving is appreciable since only
one course of graphite is required for 3 or 4 of fiberglass. It
cuts considerably easier than Kevlar. Graphite "Prepregs",
which are standard graphite weaves impregnated with either polyester
or epoxy resins, have been used by major manufacturers to cut production
time on composite parts. The required equipment and precise production
controls for proper cure of Prepregs make them difficult to adapt
to homebuilt applications. The excellent qualities of the graphite
fabric itself give it an immediate waiting market in the aircraft
building field. |

Kimoni
Woven Power Badminton Rackets have great strength, low density but
very stiff. In combination with the high modulus graphite being
used, the rackets are more durable (can be strung at high tension),
more power and more balance. They also provides excellent control
and stability. Excellent rackets for intermediate and advance players.

specially designed series for players looking for both power and
control. Nano technology is being used in this series, too. Furthermore,
the use of Kevlar makes the rackets more responsive. KEVLARR is
an advanced technology from DuPont that helps transform ordinary
products into extraordinary ones. KEVLARR is 5 time stronger than
steel on an equal weight basis, yet, at the same time, is lightweight,
flexible and comfortable. It is this unique combination of attributes
that enable those who use it to realize success, to perform to their
fullest potential and to achieve their personal best.

"Kevlar"
49 aramid fiber was introduced commercially in 1972 and is a new
high strength, high modulus organic fiber. It combines high tensile
strength (43,000 PSI) and high modulus (19 million PSI) with light
weight and toughness superior to other reinforcing fibers for plastics.
It is available in yarns and rovings which meet all FAA requirements
for flammability. It shows no degradation in jet fuel, lubricating
oils, water, salt water or high humidity. At cryogenic temperatures
(-320degree) performance is excellent with essentially no embrittlement
or degradation of fiber properties. Kevlar 49 can offer both a significant
weight saving and improved stiffness versus glass in addition to
superior vibration damping and good impact resistance. |
